Tyre Pressure warning light on !

Featured Replies

Hi all....while driveing home Monday eve the Tyre Pressure indicater alert came on!

I checked all tyre pressures the next morning at the local Shell garage and all tyres did need some inflation, however the indicater light is still on! Anyone experienced this? Rang the dealer who said it's probably a 'system fault' and will have to checked..

Cheers.

Have you tried a TPM reset

Turn on the Ignition and hold in the TPM button until it Bleeps. It's then reset and the light should go out.

You need to do this every time you have new rubber fitted or inflate the tyres

Thanks Auric, I'll have a go now..

My Leon has TPM, and I've never needed to touch it, despite having several new tyres...

Yep, pressed and held in the TPM and all now OK.. Think I need to read the owners manual in more detail !

Real men dont read manuals  I'm proud of the fact that since taking delivery of my vRS on Saturday, I haven't so much flicked through the manual...

So tempted to post RTFM....but resisted. :giggle:
