cambelt costs ( incl waterpump )

Featured Replies

Was wondering if people could list the prices they have paid for there cambelt + waterpump to be replaced on there VRS,

I have had 2 quotes thus far

Bristol Skoda on feeder Road want £313 for the cambelt or £422.87 with the waterpump changed aswell.

VEEW Specialist in bristol wanted about £320 I think for the whole lot to be swapped.

I thought I heard of people getting the whole lot done for under the £300 mark or am I wrong?

Cheers

Gav

My VW dealer is doing them for either £199 or £299 - which ever it was it's cheaper than those quotes. Might be worth seeing if your local one has the same offer seeings as it's a VW engine in the Fabias

Our local Skoda dealer (West End Garage, Broxburn) is doing the cambelt for £199

I went to a dealer 16 months ago and paid 270 iirc that inc water pump.

I paid 320 with pump , independent, dealer wanted 380, was for an Octavia, but wouldn't think they were specific

Yup had mine done at West End this week for £199. Seemed a very good deal.
