just started the process of ordering my superb elegance 170 dsg, for collection in beginning of April 2011

cant decide on the colour yet .

Well don't order it in Green, even if you like it to start with, you won't a few months down the line, the only colour I've seen one in that made me think it made the car look really impressive is Black, the dark Grey looks nice as well, but the rest didn't inspire me at all, the red is too dark and goes Burgandy on you, not at all like the previous met Red of the Sup MK1, avoid solid colour's, I've seen white and dark blue and imo both look like a cheap version of something better.

I took a risk and went for the Amethyst, having seen pics but nothing in the flesh. Have black leather, wood trim and sunset glass. I'm dead pleased with the way it looks. The only problem I have is describing the colour. So far have been told its pink, purple, beige, mushroom (the portabello type according to SWMBO)...... but I still love it.

Been trying to upload some images on here, but have failed. Any tips would be appreciated

I know exactly where you're coming from. I've ordered my Skud in Amethyst too, and when people ask me what colour it is, I find it very dificult to describe. However, having seen one in the flesh, I'm happy with the choice (mine is still some weeks away) and look forward to having something a little different to the grey and silver that I see everywhere I look.

I have just ordered Rossa Brunello- like the deep red/maroon which I think emphasises the imposing nature of the car
