Best diesel for Dpf

Featured Replies

Hi all...

I normally fill up at the local supermarket... Normally on a Friday due to traffic the Dpf light comes on and I take myself on a little drive on Sunday to clear it...

Unlike some I can live with this cause I love my VRS

However I filled up at Shell... Did the same weekly routine and there's no light!

Is there a difference between fuels for how quickly the Dpf comes on? Just found it interesting and thought I'd see if you guys have any experience of this

You get the DPF-light once a week? :o Sure that everything is alright with your car? I also do quite some city driving and havent had a light coming up in 35000 kms......also using only supermarket fuel , which is far cheaper over here.

What's your daily driving profile?
