I've got a 2005 Fabia VRS and Skoda gave me the part number as 6R0 423 156 B (at a cost of £669.35)

so obviously i've been looking around but the only pumps i can find are part number 6Q0 423 156 AB... but they're from 04-56 VRS's?!

they are all TRW electric pumps aswell. so should i be looking for 6R0 or will the 6Q0 work fine?! does anyone know? Thanks in advance

I'm pretty sure 6Q0 refers to a shared part, but no doubt someone will be able to confirm this.

with a bit more research, i think i may have answered my own question.

"6R0 423 156 B

IS THE BRAND NEW PART NUMBER FROM VW

REPLACES 6Q0 423 156 AB"
