Original 18" alloy wheels

Featured Replies

When Skoda introduced the Superb estate, all the publicity photos showed the car with a type of 18" alloys that are not available, as far as I can tell.

Check out the pictures in the link below to see what I mean:

These alloys are not Themisto, as they have more spikes. As far as I have been able to find out, there are only two original 18" alloys available for the Superb; Themisto and Luna.

Does anybody know more about the "mystic" alloys in the publicity photos? I would if possible very much like to order them... :-)

In the Superb catalog there is 18" alloy called Luxon. Looks like the one on the picures. Article nr: CCX 800 004A

Yeah, they are Luxon's - they are not a factory option, and i believe you would have to buy them as an extra. - the are the same "finish" as the Thermisto (Standard fit) but have 2 more set's of spokes.

I picked a set up new, on eBay earlier in the year - they are currently awaiting fitting to my car for winter - with Vredestine Wintrac tyres on - yes, i know, 18" rims for winter, but why not, they've got to be better than the Conti Sport's, and as you say, they look good :)
