Satnav update

Featured Replies

Recently bought an '04 vrs. It came fitted with a few optional extras.....one of these being the satnav, which was a bonus.

Does anyone know if there is an update available for these? There's a cd which is kept in, which i presume has all the maps etc on. But just wondered whether there was a 'newer' cd/version i could get hold of?

Thanks

Yes you can get newer maps from Ebay, your local dealer or downloadable from the internet if you use newsgroups/bittorrent etc etc

If its MFD1 Blaupunkt teleatlas "TravelPilot DX" disks work. Buy new or a later version off ebay. I have fitted a 2002 VW Golf mkIV MFD1 ver.G and bought a blaupunkt 2004 disk off ebay. Way cheaper than one advertised as a VW/Skoda/SEAT disk (they are the same thing)

That's great thanks :)

It might not be an option on this, but i can't also find a way to search for postcode........it seems you can only search for street or town.
