CAR STOLEN! Silver Fabia VRS - WORKSOP, NOTTS

Featured Replies

0130 this morning we woke with the kids crying and the house alarm sounding. Went downstairs to find paving slab put through the patio door. Then heard shouting from the drive, looked through peep hole to see VRS being reversed and drive off at speed! Luckily the wifes ST keys were out of sight so that is still here.

Anyway, please can you look out for my car. It is on private plate H20 RLT but is a 53 plate really. Has facelight rear lights. metallic silver. Gunmetal alloys with VRS middles, steering wheel also has VRS badge. Has silver retro rear skoda badge and black retro front skoda badge. Finally the fabia badge has been removed. Lots of things which make it stand out.

I live in Worksop, Notts and I know there are lots of you guys around this area. Please look out for the car, hopefully these people can be caught.

The main thing is we and the kids are all okay and also the ST is still here.

Unbelievable... Really sorry to hear that mate.

shocking!! hope you get some good news

Really sorry to hear that. Hope you get it back in one piece. These people really are scum of the earth.

Probably not what you want to hear, and all very well with hindsight, but a lot of people hang their keys by the front door, or leave them on a hall table etc., and with car alarms being as good as they are, these scumbags look for easy ways to get a hold of the keys.

Had any work done recently, with tradesmen coming into the house? It's an easy way of casing the place, and they can pass the info on to someone else or come back later themselves armed with a paving slab.

Just as a warning to others really, to keep your keys safe. Mine sit on my bedside table overnight.

Sorry to hear this, glad the main thing that you and your family are OK, try to take comfort in that. No words can describe the frustration and anger at these situations. Feel for you.

Will keep an eye out

Mate that is shocking.

I just really hope the kids are ok. Can't imagine what it would be like being scared in your own house

sorry to hear this mate, as said above, scum of the earth.

glad your family is ok, a car can be replaced, a life cannot.

Have you posted the details on TWOC yet?

Best of luck.

Really sorry to hear about this. Since your car is distinctive, it should make it easier trying to find it.

This is one of the reasons that all of my keys go upstairs into my bedroom
