You need to remove the rubber door surround thingy (seal) first, make it a lot easier.

erm 2 posts wanting a pod only one helping get the frigger off,i can't do anything at the mo as the cars out,but i'm gonna give it a try if i get enough light later.

we could have a boost gauge next to the seat belts couldn't we?? :P :P i could ask the kids to keep an eye on the gauge

As TaviaRS said take off the rubber first. I prized mine off no problem when routing the handsfree cables. Start at the top and work your way down, prizing it a little at a time. If I remember correctly its like one of those fishbone diagrams, ie plastic bits stick out.

gotcha,just been told that theres none that are the same(this maybe due to the texture or covering on them) ,anyone got a price of a new one? willing to spend a few quid on sending one to nomad for modifying,if theres a pod at the end of it.
