Just a post to say hello - I've been having a browse of this excellent site for a while now.

Not a Skoda owner yet - but hankering after a Furby vRS. Gotta wait a while till there are a few more second hand ones about :(

So I'll keep looking here and hope to find a black one going for a song (to match my black Suzuki Bandit 12, the only source of speed kicks at the moment!)

Hmmm, maybe... but seeing as the Bandit does 0-60 in about 3.5, I think I'll plump for the economy of the Fab!! I do like the Octy vRS too though...

Much as I hate to admit it, I feel I've known you all long enough to share...so, I'll confess...my current car is a ...volvo 850 :ashamed:

so really anything's gotta be better!!

Ignore all the banter about Fabia vs Octavia - they're both great cars. However - are you sure you wouldn't like a yellow one instead of black

go for a yellow one the same as my dads! look awesome, the get some fox racing wheels for it - also like dad and then get it super chipped! lol again.... like dads!

Fabias and octys are both good, he has had both, gets better fuel consumption from the Fabia, being deisel, and now he has had it super chipped, its as quick as an octy

Been an Octavia driver for the last three years 2.0 GLX ( family car) and pick my v RS Octy up on wednesday, (funtime at last) black of course. Any suggestions on the real value of using optimax fuel versus 'normal' unleaded petrol. Im no petrol head and need some newbie performance advice!!

Also, will a black rivet tax disk holder REALLY make me go faster?
