dealer struggling to shift car

The whole used market has been messed up by the cheap vat free offers. When I was looking the used post face lift cars were advertised for more then the new list price, let alone what you could get with DTD.

I'd agree - I haven't bought a new car for the last 10 years. When deciding on the Skoda my intention was to buy a year old model but when I looked at what dealers were offering them at and what I could get buying through CarFile it was a no brainer. I get a new car (eventually hopefully :giggle: ) and I get to choose the colour and the options.

I was amazed when looking at the nearly new market and seeing that the prices being asked by dealers were substantially more than I could purchase new.

Crazy.
