vRS Colour Examples

Featured Replies

I finally got round to signing on the dotted line for my new Fabia vRS on Friday after much deliberation on the colour and spec.

In the end I decided to go for candy white with a black roof and the black 'Gigaro' wheels. I decided against the green as I wasn't overly keen on it and the majority of vRSs seem to be ordered in this colour so wanted something different. Also I had a red Mk1 Fabia vRS so that colour was out too. Trouble is I can't find a picture of what my car would look like in the colour scheme that I've chosen! I can find a few pictures of white with a white roof and standard or black wheels but not with the three altogether.

Not that it's going to change my mind on the colour (it's too late now anyway and I should hope not after all this!) but does anyone have any pictures of my colour combo? I can't wait to see it in the flesh sometime in February at the going rate!

Cheers medears... unfortunately it doesn't have the black wheels on it but it's a good start.

Anyone else?

Much better, thanks!

Just had a call from the dealer to say my car's been moved forward to build week 1. Means I should get it by the end of January all being well!

He also said that the spec is now locked so no chance of changing anything. Good job I like the colour combo even more now for seeing that example!

I have ordered a Fabia VRS in Candy White whit Gigaro Chrome/black, last month

Normally I will have it on the middle of December

Excuse me for my awful English

Same here, I can't speak a word of Spanish!

Lots of people ordering the dark chrome wheels with the white and not the black like I've chosen? Oh well, means mine will be more unique!

That link is good fastshark, looks kinda like the German equivalent of Auto Trader?

I have ordered the dark chrome wheels with magic black on a vRS.

The dealer ( and my daughter ! ) thought it would look fine.

Just be aware that the inserts are grey and not black, so they won't match anything else on the car!

That's one of the very reasons I didn't go for the dark chrome on mine. It is subtle mind but a difference worth nothing nonetheless.

I like the vRS in that rather nice Green and candy white. The pictures in Candy White do look really good!

Exactly why I didn't go for dark chrome alloys with my candy white!

Agreed, the anthracite looks amazing. I would defo have ordered that colour had it been an option but as always we never get such choices in the UK, being the poor relations that we are.

Not a fan of the all black look with a white roof it just looks plain wrong in my opinion. Also not a fan of the all white with black wheels either, looks like it's missing something. The standard wheels look pants in any colour, has to be a choice of the dark chrome or black wheels I think, depending on the body colour.

Yes, I definitely had anthracite as one of my original choices along with race blue/black roof ( which incidentally ,skoda have now decided to make that available! ). No regrets on candy white though it's stunning imo ,even when dirty! ( well, apart from the rear end which seems to get dirty very quickly indeed after washing! )

I disagree with you on the wheels, I actually like the standard ones. I think they go well with candy white. If I was younger, maybe I would have gone for black but I still think 'too much black!'

I'm gutted as I've kerbed one of my alloys already due to not de-icing all the windows properly one morning, and i'm going to have to get it sorted. It doesn't look too bad ,but god knows what a black wheel would look like 'scuffed', not very good I suppose!

I must admit that's one of my biggest fears in getting black wheels but then I thought that any colour wheel would look bad if it got scuffed anyway. Based on that thinking I went with the wheel colour that I thought looked best rather than the colour that would least stand out if they got scuffed. The standard wheels don't look too bad if the body and roof colours are the same but otherwise I'm not a fan of them at all. Each to their own though otherwise we'd all be driving round in identical cars!

On the subject of scuffed wheels, I've heard about so-called 'alloygators' if anyone has heard of them. Not sure how they're applied or even what they look like when they're on but it's supposed to provide at least some protection from scuffed wheels?

I was told last week that blue with black roof is not available as that combo was what I wanted. The dealer rang someone (head office ?) whilst I was there to confirm.

Strange as on Skoda's own website you can configure a Fabia vRS with that colour combo? My dealer even offered me that combo as a choice when I was making my mind up, no calls to head office either to confirm.

Just be aware that the inserts are grey and not black, so they won't match anything else on the car!

From a distance they look much darker - because they are in shadow all the time.

Anyway if necessary paint the anthracite black emoticon-0144-nod.gif

OK , after a lot of searching I have found the new vRS in black magic with the dark chrome wheels.

It has alloy wheel protectors on each wheel , which is the red ring.

Looks OK to me.

When I asked for blue/black the dealer looked in the brochure and said "sorry, that combination is not allowed" so I mentioned the website configurator.

He then wasn't sure so made the call and said it's definately not allowed and added something about it being a European option only ??
