I may show up in my beat up Fabia SE

I phoned up to confirm the booking today. They want me to leave a £100 deposit for a BBQ but if 20 people don't pay to run I won't get my deposit back so in all honesty I'm just not prepared to do it unless we can get 20 definite names that WILL be running. I'm sure you understand.

We can always shoot over to Lakeside's famous 'Big Blue Food Bus' afterwards for a bit of a munch up.

Sounds fair enuff there's probably a burger van nearby or ikea meatballs!!!!

some people recommend a remap as the best bhp/£ mod. i disagree. For just the cost of the rolling road @ AMD, you will get loads of free Hp just for turning up.

These rollers have been giving out huge figures recently, and i mean huge.

We'll see... I'm getting mine RR'd at the RR Ali @ Unit 18 uses so we can see what it is before and after.

I left the deposit of £100 so gunna be disappointed if 20 people don't run.

It starts at 9am so aim to be there a little bit before.

I also confirmed that they can run DSG cars and they can run 4x4 cars such as the Octavia 4x4. With DSG they just take it as far as they can which he said is very close to being a true figure anyway.

I'm certain that 900000 will not be running his standard CR140.

I will be. I need to leave by 12 noon if possible..

It's gonna be a top day. I won't bother bringing my digi cam if there are going to be SLR's there! I keep nagging my friend making him nag his boss for the day off, will be interesting as both our cars are standard, but I've tweaked the air box, added a greenpanel and should have a PD160 on, see if I can make 140hp lol. Should be having fuel filter, oil filter and oil replaced and will scrub the air filter til my hands bleed, much power is needed lol. Better give the engine a wipe over for 'appearence' :p almost forgot the car needs a scrub. Hmm I have some work set out for me don't I...
