Then have a drive with someone who has one, its not really that much different at idle, its driving it when it changes and even then its not as loud inside as it is outside so im told. Mine makes a hell of a whoosh when it goes off, might well be the hybrid thats doing that though.

like ross said not that much difference at idle but when you hammer down the pedal thats when you notice the different sound.
