hey, does anyone know of a good thread for removing and cleaning the egr? with pictures too possibly? ive had a look but cant find anything suitable.

ps still having trouble trying to reset the service indicator, ive done what has been said but doesn seem to work. maybe im doing something wrong, i put the keys in the igntion, press and hold the button, turn the key round to the lights come on (button stilll pressed) and it still doesn work. ive also tried this when pressing the button with the lights on and keeping it pressed when cranking the engine.

Not sure about the EGR guide, but to reset the service indicator you do the following

Holding down the trip reset

Ignition on

Wait 10s

Service message should disappear

Release trip button

I've also been looking for a guide for the egr delete, but no joy either.

i should also say that the spanner icon is not on the dash constantly, just when i turn the ignition on it appears with 2100, which i assume is the milage to next service. is it possible to reset this?
