What's the button on the o/s door pillar do?

Featured Replies

Haven't got a user manual handy at the mo, but just noticed a button low down on the drivers side door pillar - I pressed it and it lit red but didn't seem to do anything . Had the car since May but it must be the first time I've moved the drivers seat fully forward which is when I noticed it.

I think it is to do with the motion sensor for the alarm so that you can switch it off.

If you press the button before you get out and lock the car it disables in alarm sensors inside (if you have a pet inside)

It's the ejector button wired up to the passenger seat!

Go on - I dare you to press it when you're going under a bridge?! :D:rofl:

That's what I suspected, but not sure if it ejected driver or passenger :D

Thanks to the earlier posters for the more likely info!
