Exhast Prices

Featured Replies

Hi

i've got a big, probably expensive question. I've got a 99 Skoda Octavia (T reg) that needs a full exhaust. does anyone know a ball park figure of how much replacing it will cost. so i know if anyones trying to rip me off.

What happened was a bracket snapped that holds the back box to the chassi allowing the back box to bounce and crack. it's also dmaged the mid pipe. took it to garage to get a quote and they go "the cats gone too". give it a poke and it rattles a lot. it's been using more petrol han normal just neer thought of the cat. anyway it get worse. the cats the original one and conected to the front pipe so can't replace one with replacing the other.

so i need a front pip, cat, mid pipe and back box.

i've been given a quote of £420 and i don't know if thats good or not.

can anyone help with a bit of advice?

Thanks

Doug
