How to check a car's MOT history and mileage

Featured Replies

I never knew one could do this for FREE.

You need the car's reg number but also the MOT test certificate number or the V5C document number.

Someone on the A2OC posted this as he was just about to buy an A2 with a full service history and 70,000 miles on the clock. Turns out (after this check) the car's FSH was bogus and it had done 170,000 miles. It promtly went back to the dealer as he luckily caught this in time.

Nice one, had never heard of that

Good find, thanks for passing it on
