The first of the National Meets is almost upon us.

Saturday: Mid Wales Drive (approx 180miles)

Sunday : Oulton Park Circuit, Cheshire (central for all)

Dates: 12/13th July

The meet is to follow this rough format:

Friday night:

Gather, at nearby travelodge, food \ beer, for those travelling up on the night before.

Saturday:

Spirited drive out into north wales for those that desire,

or relaxing by the track for qualifying \ practice sessions.

Evening, beer \ food \ hero stories from the days drive, then all stay at decided accomodation(s), possibly in Llangollen as it's very convient with hotels, B&B and camping options, but it's still to be confirmed.

Sunday:

Meet for breakfast then convoy to circuit, then watch the days action. Depart and head for home at end of day or as you please, but a motorsport day was the popular choice if its sunny top up our tans.

The 12/13th July is a GT\F3 weekend, there will be plenty of support races.

So take a look at your diary, and pencil in those dates!

I'll be there for the drive Colin. Unfortunately I'm at Goodwood on the Friday and Sunday. Oh well, its only mileage

Goodwood unfortunately clashes, havent missed one yet so Im afraid Goodwood it is

On reflection and considering my recent change in circumstances, I won't be attending this meet. Can barely afford the petrol, let alone sundry expenses

Wedding anniversary, am taking the wife away for a rally driving course that weekend. She doesn't know it yet though!
