My remapped 58 plate Superb 1.9Tdi 105 has this week passed the 60,000 mile mark. The only issues were the fog lamps wheich fogged up (replaced under warranty) and a blown number plate bulb.

I'm averaging 54 mpg (full to empty method, not computer), driving sensibly. The range is 700+ miles on this basis.

Unlike the Greenline version, the 'S' has no DPF which is another bonus.

The factory fit Michelin Energy tyres give long life, but were not sanctioned by the leasing company. I am now running on Michelin Primacy's which are equally as good and have a tad more grip.

Using variable servicing, I have been visiting the garage every 20,000 miles, although, the indicator states 18,500 miles as being the approximate distance between services. The car has used very litte (250-300ml) of oil between services, however, this may be due to the dealer always overfilling!

As a long distance car, the Superb is quieter and more comfortable than my previousd Octy.
