Also I had a demonstrator vRS on thursday and the order went in on friday. The focus deisel that is going will not be missed, how often can you gain performance and handling and get better fuel economy.

The vRS reminded me of my old 1,9 205 GTI with the torque on tap

Which vrs are you getting?

I`ve ordered a silver fabia vRS. The demonstrator was black but I`ve had black cars inthe past and they tend to show scratches (from car wash brushes) a lot more than a lite colour. I know I shouold hand wash but hey Im lazy

Yep - my neighbour a few years ago had a black audi - he was always washing it. I now tend to go for silver cars which just go darker silver when dirty.

Also silver tends not to show up stone chips / scratches as much - especially if you use a colored polish (not that I do that much polishing).

On darker colours the local dealer mentioned that Red tends to fade quite badly - this certainly happened to me years ago with an Astra. I thought I was just unlucky/ hadnt been polishing it enough - Thoughts anyone??

I had a red mundano a couple of years ago and the thing had to be polished often or looked slightly off pink. It was a pig. However recieved some bad news today, the silver vRS I`ve ordered wont be delivered till wednesday next week instead of the promised friday.
