Fabia stone chips

Featured Replies

I Saw a black fabia vRS today and it was peppered with stone chips on the wings and bonnet, is this just a one off or do they suffer more than most? I am a bit worried, as I have ordered one myself.

one of the problems of having a black car mate! it looks the b0**0cks but shows all dirt and chips/scratches

Sure it wasn't a high miler? :D

I wonder if Jon's got any piccies of what his vRS octy'd bonnet looked like after over 100k miles? :D

I've got some, the windscreen at 8 months/18k miles is worse that the old Fabia was after three years/60k and the bonnet has some, again about the the same amount as the old Fabia had, maybe the vRS just goes faster so gets chipped easier!!

Look hard or critically enough you see them, but really don't notice them from 'normal' distance when it's nice and clean - which mine is for now (see pic taken after today's work was done)

I see some seagulls 'hanging' around outside at the moment... :thumbdwn:

Nothing I can do about them or stones really. Unless you keep the car in a garage and never drive it, which is sort of missing the point.... :)
