STAINED DOORCARD!

Featured Replies

Right i opend the drivers door this morning i didnt clear the snow off the roof which was a mistake i know, anyway a big clump of fecking snow fell onto the white/grey colour on the doorcard its left a water mark all over my doorcard i tried drying it off straight away with a hair dryer but its stained the doorcard!! i have tryed some upholstery cleaning stuff but it didnt really make a difference, any other ideas would be great, the interior is so hard to keep clean!

ive got the same kind of marks on my rear door cards and nothing will shift it!

Try more snow over the rest of it  At least your car does not "leak" snow... :'(

Here's to my first post emoticon-0144-nod.gif .

Only recently purchased a Vrs, first job I did was strip the whole interior out and gave it a full valet.

Would highly recommend Meguiars All Purpose Interior Cleaner, I purchased a bottle of the cleaner, a mixing bottle and a upholstery brush.

Only tools i needed for the job really. emoticon-0100-smile.gif

2 tablespoons of Bicarbonate of soda in a litre of warm water & a J cloth works wonders.

I used vanish carpet cleaner and a damp cloth on my stained seats n drivers door card, although it was just ground in muck it shifted it straight away

cheers

Yep just wash it. I've always just let it dry out naturally, but a hairdryer should be fine.
