vrs flat spot ?

hello i have a 2002 vrs with 150 k on the clock and every now and the i get a bad flat spot at 2k but it seems when it happans the car is down on power when it does pick back up iv changed plugs could it be coil pack or maff ? . And there is no codes ?

I only bought mine a couple of months ago so no idea other than a remap might kill off any flat spots.

Are the conditions when the car flatspots reproducable at will? If so, what are they?

dont no if this helps but i cant get the mpg up past 22.7 even if i drive like a grandad

Find a competent mechanic, and ask him to check the voltage from the lambda sensor. It sounds like you're running rich, and that usually means a duff lambda or engine temperature sensor (or a Fleabay resistor mod; Google with terms "fleabay resistor" &briskoda if you don't know this one.

i did have the lamdas looked at he did say the front one was working a little slow for his liking it could be that
