My drivers door is dealocked and the barrel just turns and turns. Tried everything such as unlocking from passenger door and boot but to no avail. I cant get the door card off so what are my options please please help me.

I had this a while back (summer) Luckily I had the door trim off before and had missed 2 screws between the wing and dooe so i could get the trim off then basically i could see the lock but still with no luck, headed off to the skoda garage and they smashed it into peices for no charge, lol

Said they do about 60 cars a year for this across the vag range!

Without the card off gonna be a no go!

Its possible to get it off and only damage the clips. You need to remove all the bolts and door trim and then yank it up and towards you. Personally I would get a garage to do it as it is a right pain.
