I have replaced the stock speakers with aftermarket ones and to be honest the oem speakers are the best I've heard for stock. In fact they sound much better than budget aftermarket speakers. However I've got mine running of the oem head unit so I'm not getting the best out of my speakers. I intend to amp them and fit a dsp/processor. I think it's worth sound deadening to cut down on the vibration

I replaced mine with some aftermarket ones from Rockford Fosgate and had the doors dynamatted. Makes it sound a lot better, more bassy but the stock speakers are very good - might be worth just doing the dynamatting if you dont want to change the speakers.

I tested the Fabia vRS II speakers out with a Rammstein CD when I was out on the test drive.

Very impressive for stock speakers it has to be said, I only tried them for a bit of a song, but they were very good for stock.

..any clue if rear door speaker wiring connects to the front speakers????????? :S

if it hasn't got rear speakers, i can garantee that skoda won't fit speaker cables ready in place. In the pre fl with the Dance hu, it can run 4 speakers, might be the same with Swing as it runs 4 speaker in models fitted with 4 speakers.

you'll need to run speaker cable from hu to the rear doors, and you'll also need baffles/adapter plates.

hi fabia55 do you still have your old oem speakers?

yes i do have the oem speakers, i miss them actually, only listened to them for a couple of months then regretably upgraded, quite nice silk dome tweeters and better than my aftermarke tweeters.

........how much are you asking for them :smirk: ??

Hi guys, been reading the thread, and I dont know what is dynamatting, i presume that it is some kind of sound proofing fabric that you put inside the door panels. I would be grateful if someone uploads the picture of that so I can look for that in my country. Greets! B)

...kakosi if you do a search in this forum/google/youtube you will find alot of information

dynamat is one of the well known brands of sound deadener. when people say 'dynamating' it means they are using dynamat to sound deaden. there's loads of other brands, often cheaper, and do the same if not similar or a decent job. Silent Coat, Stinger Road Kill, Vibe Anti Vibe, Skinz, Brown Bread, loads out there.
