Hello everybody. I am looking for the Truckman Aero top for Felicia FUN and can't get any for a long time. Can anybody tell me where to look for it? I was trying e-bay, but I did not see any for a long time there. It was produced in Great britain, wasnt it?

I am from the Czech Republic and Iam really interested in this, cause the genuine top is not so good looking as Truckman is.

Please let me know some details :)

Yes. The first one with windows. I know that one, you have sent me. The men who is selling it keeps it for me. But I have 2 other friends, who wants it too, so I want to buy more then one Truckman. It is really nice.

Last week a windowed one went for £80

There's also one in a breakers in Bristol, but I don't have their details any more. That was going for £220 with the short rails for the cab, and rails on the Truckman too.

Given that the trucks are slowly declining in number, the tops themselves would become less rare as such, as the ratio will get closer and closer to 1:1.

I think the biggest problem here is the shipping. I know that the windowless top has been re-listed two months after it was originally sold. The bloke that bought it, lives in Scotland. The top is in North Kent at the moment (covered in snow). Apparently it was going to be £100 to ship from one end of the country to the other. At that point the "buyer" went very quiet. (Lesson: do your homework before you buy ;-) )

I should imagine shipping to the Czech Republic wouldn't be cheap either.

I'll have a hunt around to see if I can find the details of the one in Bristol.

However, my top is nearing the end of it's auction and has been bid on, so it would be unfair to pull it off now, especially as there's only 13 hours left on it. (seems to have amassed 9 watchers now). If you bid and win, I'm sure we can sort out storage for a while.

No, sorry. I found mine through ebay. The problem is they get bought fairly quickly as they also fit MK2 VW Caddy (so I'm told)

That is not an aero top.. This is without windows. I saw that yesterday.. Anyway, thank you for respond, RainbowFore :) Any other suggestion? :)

Ah the confusion would lie in that Truckman called all the tops Aero-tops regardless of windows.

The Truckmans on a MK2 Caddy should also fit.

Other than that, get one without windows and get windows put in

No, the Truckman is shaped to go over the top of that plastic roll-over thing. There are two seals: one onto the roof of the cab and one onto the rear face of the roll-over. On a Caddy you can just ignore the 2nd seal.

If you look at a picture of the top on a truck you'll see it's raised by an inch or two above the cab-line.

Nothing needs to be removed or added when you take the top on/off. Basically it uses a claws on the top into 4 loops (not part of the 'production' truck). So it effectively 'snaps' into place. The loops are essential if you're buying a top - they just screw into place and rock 'n' roll.

Oh, i see.. Didn't know this! Thanks. So, once more: I want to buy Truckman Aero for Felicia Fun WITH windows! :) Iam watching e-bay quite often, but I want to try all ways to catch one. Is there in britain some big offers web like e-bay is, or some website for inserting cars? I mean something, where is some little possibility, that Truckman can be inserted there.. For example i can go to www.aukro.cz, what is quite similar czech version of e-bay, or I cas wisit www.skoda-virt.cz, vhat is a comunite of Skoda users and there is alsou possible to find advertisements..

Hope you will understand my meanings.. Sorry for bad english.
