Well having got rid of my Octavia VRS in April this year due to needing a diesel for work purposes, and buying a BMW, I've not come to the conclusion that where I stay in winter 4 wheel drive is required is I've to stand chance of getting about.

So next week the BMW is getting replaced with a Yeti, not easy to come by in the current climate and a 6-7 month wait on factory orders wasn't really an option.

Had to travel a bit further than my local dealer (60 miles away) but managed to track down an ex-demo Yeti 2.0TDI 4x4 Elegance in Storm Blue with a few added options (Silver Roof Rails, Spare Wheel & Park Assist).

Looking forward to rejoining the Skoda fold and this forum again.

Welcome Back Stuart mate, I'm also thinking of getting a Yeti when I come to replace this one, should have bought one in the first place if I had known the snow was going to be this bad!

Thanks Davy, unfortunately you can never count on the weather, still I'd rather be prepared just on case, Yeti is a good all round car anyway so hopefully will all work out and be a good car even without the snow and when it returns I'll be prepared for it.
