Front wipers not working...

Featured Replies

Hi....

The front wipers have stopped working....I assume a fuse has blown or something....

Unfortuntley i have no spare fuses at home. More importantly i have no idea where the fuses are located in the VRS...

Is it possible to swap fuses round as a temporary fix in this awful weather???

Cheers

I reckon i need to increase the concentrate of screen wash mate....I put some ready mixed Halfrauds stuff in her car. Its obviously not strong enough.....

I have some double concentrate stuff.....might use that now...

Fricken Skodas.......can be so frustrating yet so simple to fix!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well hopefully anyway!

Read somewhere this can stop the car from starting??? Is this true???

Do the interior lights have the same fuse rating???

Use the 15 amp fuse that controls the rear wiper, thats not essential, and that get a stock of the "mini" fuses

It stops the screenwash freezing, but not the jets icing over.

Aren't the jets heated on the vRS, or is it only the Elegance that has those? And do they work, as mine seem to take about 20 minutes to defrost themselves. emoticon-0145-shake.gif

I nicked the interior light fuse, was suppose to get a new one the next day, but 10 months later ........
