Dropped it whilst changing bulb. Took undertray etc off but can't find it "/

Problem is. MOT tomoz... What's my best bet? Where can I get one and do I have to buy the whole light?

Thanks.

A well placed bit of duct tape will probably get it through the MOT, as long as the bulb is seated correctly and not coming off i doubt it will fail as a result. Not 100% sure on that though so don't count on it ;)

ahh I see :)

after this though, any ideas on new one?

Exact same thing happened to me when I got a bit to 'enthusiastic' fitting HID's the other day. Luckily I didnt have the undertray on so it fell straight onto the floor

no idea where mine went lol. Like no room near side light.

Strange to say least :)

It's just a bit of bent wire, see if you can find some wire the same thickness and bend it to the same shape as the one on the other side.

Sounds easier than it is i believe :D

Ima take a trip to skoda garage near me where they do all the work and see what they have laying around :D

Or borrow one from somebody local if possibe? Maybe if you have a friend with a polo/ibiza/fabia of a similar age the part might fit? I would offer you mine, but I'm a bit far away, and you'd be cheaper buying a new one!! :giggle:

Cost me £40 for the MOT.

Advisorys were:

rear shock bushes slighlty worn - Im getting coil over next few months i hope so not getting new ones

1 tyre down to 3mm - Just got 2 new proxes on the front so that can wait

Heatshield loose - Ohwell.

Hopefully things are on the up!

Glad this is out of the way for another year! :)
