........will sadly not be appearing on here - not from me at least :S

I stood outside freezing my nads off for 50 minutes waiting for them to fly over Lincoln, only for them not to appear :'(

My local TV news bulletin has just confirmed that due to 'adverse weather conditions' the final 16-plane flight only took place around RAF Cottesmore :'(

Boy, was I p*ssed!!!! :@:swear:

Cool base that, stayed there in the 70s, everything is deep underground, with hundreds of attractive WAFS each monitoring a part of airspace with a huge screen on the back wall of the wold laid out like a map with every plane monitoring on it. ( like James Bond) . The bloodhound missiles were cool too ,like Thunderbirds

and there i was thinking you weregonna show what your camera can do........at least im not freezing :giggle:

You want a pic of me standing in the garden , looking up ?, wonderful to see tho , especially as it was its last flight .... ever , sort of memorable.

It's a shame, as they did a fair few flyovers around stamford on tuesday and wednesday but i was at work so didn't get to see them :(

Beautiful aircraft, especially when hovering!
