Japanese cars tend to have poorer grounding, least the older ones anyway, that's why the grounding kits are on the market for them.

It will reduce noise - however the ECU has its own voltage stabiliser anyway so effects will be negligible. I have one (check my really old thread), I think I explained a little more in the thread. Basic jist is, its not worth £42, it maybe worth £4.20 (buy some thick cable and hook them up). Then again, £80 for a pd160 thing is more stupid money than this.

For the record, I did not buy it, my bro likes wasting money on gadgets and since it was lying around it could do no harm being put on.

P.S. VRSsunroof - the big shiny metal box is already a faraday cage enough to keep out the (EMF) noise. They're implying noise from source (battery/alternator).

What a brainwave money spinner, some idiot is sure gonna fall for it.

I'll suggest hanging some motor-cycle chain from back of car and let dangle onto the ground,

the sparks you see will be chain earthing static electricity from vehicle body.
