If my vrs is 5x100 and my new wheels are 5x112 do the adapters have to be 5x100-5x112 or 5x112-5x100??

5x100 ~ 5x112 would mean the original stud pattern is 5x100 and you are convering to 5x112.

5x112 ~ 5x100 would mean original stud of 5x112 convering to 5x100.

dependant on how they are manufacutured a propper set would not be interchangable.

Wobbly bolts = bye bye alloys. Get the adapters.
