I need to rest my service interval on a Mk2 octavia 2.0TDi. Does the U281 do this?

Doesn't appear to, I've had a dig around and it only mentions scanning for and resetting DTCs. No mention of being able to reset service indicators anywhere.

The VCDS software can do this and much more but is relatively expensive. A local Briskodian + VCDS + beer tokens would sort it.

For fixed intervals you can do it using the trip reset button. Says how in the manual.

It doesn't. It will set it to fixed intervals.

I have read about the U281, I have read bits where no mention of a service interval reset and others where it does. I have emailed a seller on ebay and await a reply.
