New Forest in the snow

Featured Replies

I went for a drive in the New Forest on the way to my dads house. Unfortunately I didn't take a very scenic route but I got a few cool photos. Certainly not the best I've taken but I thought I'd share them anyway.

This one was lacking colour so I made it a bit spooky and grey looking!

Aw, for a moment I thought that I may have been spotted stuck in the snow yesterday :p

Nice pics, the forest looks great in the snow :)

Whereabouts in the Forest did you take the pics? Didn't seem to be that much snow here in Southampton and it turned to rain last night.

It was heading from New Milton to Burley, stopping off at a few places on the way. I took them on Saturday.

Is that how bad the roads where out there? Wish I went for a drive through the forest now!

Btw, your dad has a really nice house!

I expect the roads out in the forest were worse when the snow was really thick. The roads around my house were almost impassible on the first snowfall.

Thanks, yes my dads house is pretty cool! I plan go get some nice photos in the spring with all the new growth, he's not been there for long
