7" screen HELP!!!

Featured Replies

hey just got a dvd player with a 7inch screen i want to put it somewhere near the dash, has anyone else seen or done something similiar. cheers.

ColinD has, be interested in seeing the install as I am going to fit an XBOX in my car with a similar screen.

I have TV in mine but its one of kenwood fold out one. You could get a mount made up easily for just behind the ash try, or give it a go yourself shouldn't be too hard to do

No offence but what is the point in having an XBOX in your car?

Don't think i'd bother with the XBOX personally but does give the options of DVD's i suppose. I've noticed that I hardly use my TV or DVD player but they're there and on the odd lunch break get used

Well why not ?

Besides the box will be chipped so it will have a few DVD's loaded onto it and it will be used as a multimedia player , I will also store MP3, video and games on it. Anyway we do a 120 mile journey every month so it will be great for the misses to watch a DVD on.

Not a fabia but you get a general idea.

Made my own slim line mount.

My DVD player had a remote eye so i mounted it in the boot (could be put in the glove box as well).

Remote eye ?

I take it you can plug a lead into the unit and run a seperate IR controller into the front of the car ?
