Hi since the Scoob was K.I.A. been looking hard to find a replacement :(

Narrowed it down to either an Octavia or a Superb 2.0 TDi.

As I'm 6' and with two lads growing past me I'm thinking the Superb may have the edge although some feedback off you guys would be helpful ;)

Seasons greetings all

Hi and welcome aboard.

Welcome to the Briskoda forums.

Hi Guys

Hello HiDeHi I am 6 ft 2 inches and have the octy vrs, my 2 sons are both 6 footers and are quite comfortable in the back (even sat behind me). Skoda have been clever with the rear seating in that they have anglede the rear seats so that taller people can sit in them comfortably and also there is adequate rear legroom.

Hi Billy thanks for the info. I'd rather have the Octi VRS over the Superb for performance. Although making a Superb into a little "Sleeper" project like my old Ferry could be fun too.

My eldest son is already 6'2" and still growing! But as long as we can get them in comfortably with a wheelchair in the boot everyones happy lol ;)

If the Octi can do all that I would be swayed as I really like the interior.

Decisions decisions lol :)

Your best idea is get yourself n the lads down to the dealers n sit in the car, at least then you will know for sure if they will fit .

Octy vrs all day for me Glad you've seen the light and come to VAG

The estate is easiest to load if you've got a chair to think about

If the wheelchair is foldable either hatchback or estate will be fine, although you may be restricted getting much more into the hatchback.

Well I went to the Auctions today and an Octi VRS 06 38k no history went for 7.5k :o

I put a silly bid in on a BMW and now have a 525d SE with all the toys for a paltry £3800B)

The downside means until my insurance money is settled I'll have to wait till April/May time till I can buy the VRS:(

Depends on what year.

Mk1 octys were based on the golf platform and superbs on the passat i think.

The newers octys seem to be the same size as an older superb and the new superb is more VW Phaeton sized.

Saying that though my mother had a mk1 octy vrs estate and im 6'2 and i fitedfine!
