I am living too far from a SKODA dealer.

For my retire in Europe.

I have just ordered, ONLINE, a Roomster 1.2 sti DSG Ambition.

I will travel on unsailed road and I would like to know if the SCOUT has a better ground clearance than the Ambition.

On the manual it is written 140mm for a standard Roomster and 141mm on the Scout Roomster!!

I read somewhere that the Scout had a higher ground clearance, but according to the brochure it doesn't. I may be wrong, but I think there is no mechanical difference between scout and standard Roomster so i supect the ground clearance is the same. Could you contact Skoda Customer Services with your enquiry?

I would suggest you avoid the Scout if you travel on a lot of poorly surfaced roads.

The combination of 16 inch wheels and low profile tyres can give a harsh ride.

definitly the Roomster Scout or Ambition have the same ground clearance 140mm.

I have confirmed my order for the Ambition with 15" wheels.

12 weeks before delivery.
