Since you have maxidot you can open all doors and boot etc to see if all show as open on screen.

 

If not, you know you have a faulty microswitch in the door.

1) Does the door open light on the dash come on when you open the driver's door?

I ask this because if the micro switch in the door lock does not tell the central controller that the door is open then it will set the alarm after a delay from being unlocked with the remote.

2) Have you tried setting the delay alarm activation to NO with Carista just to see what effect it has?

 

1. Yes, lights on and dash symbol works as expected. And I think if it didn't know the door was opened then it would also lock the car again.

 

2. Not yet, I didn't want to change a random setting if I could find out what it did beforehand - but think I will have to have a play.

It's not me with Maxidot, I've hijacked someone elses thread But the door symbol does work fine.

So I've changed the Delay Alarm setting, but haven't tried it yet.

No doubt at some point over the next few days I'll leave it unlocked for a while and then go to open a door - will see if it's sorted it.
