Colour for an Octavia Scout...

Featured Replies

I'm interested to know which colours are popular (and look good) on the Scout.

Skoda appear to do one Scout only colour, Safari. Does anyone have real picture (not skoda marketing - as on image search) of what this looks like on the vehicle?

Otherwise, what colour(s) go well with the plastic cladding?

Thanks

Safari is a new colour for the UK so never seen one.

Mine is black...

Not too keen on the new Safari, looks a bit too gold for my liking...

That Safari looks like a slightly different version of Cappucino Beige.

White might be one to avoid, looks a bit bog standard...

Lots of people didnt think it would work but now all think in the flesh it looks fantastic

 have to agree. I have a silver VRS myself, but if I bought a Scout (which I may do next time) it will definitely be in Rosso Brunello (if that's what you call it) - I think it looks really classy !

Quick Summary of the breakdown of colours on the Scout Register:

Anthracite Grey 15

Aqua Blue 1

Arctic Green 2

Black Magic 6

Brilliant Silver 9

Candy White 3

Cappuccino Beige 8

Corrida Red 4

Rosso Brunello 3

Satin Grey Metallic 11

Storm Blue 2

I was a little concerned about this colour before I collected mine, but certainly like it now...although its SO dirty at the minute you'd never guess what colour is actually is!

By the way...I love the look of the in-filled? wheels!! Was that a Skoda option or something thats been done after-market?

I pass a cappucino beige (or maybe safari...its a 60 plate) Scout on the way back from work sometimes and I think it looks great!!

I like the black, and the white ones too.

Really pleased with my Satin Grey one - but very much like the Rosso Brunello with dark wheels...

I am not biased as I have a VRS not a scout but I think anthracite or satin Grey look the smartest. Also I think the facelift scout looks a more homogeneous design than the normal Octavia for some reason

Anthracite here.

Wife thinks I should have gone solid red. I think it would be too much like fire engine. I wonder if I should have gone lighter though.

Bit biased as I have a White Scout

But the white certainly shows off the off road hardwear of the black protection panels and the silver front and rear sump guards

The one thing you can guarantee is you will not come across many on the roads

I have only seen 2 of the new shape and 1 of the old shape in 9 months here in South Wales

My dealer had never sold a scout before the one I ordered

I like the satin grey, looks really good on the Scout. Rather wish they offered it on the vRS.

Looking at all these real life photos, I'm really glad I didnt have an option of colour...I'd still have been deciding now!!!

It's a fairly recent addition to the Scout options list. An extra £80 I think?

Well worth it in my opinion

Sorry to add another question to this thread, but is the plastic protective trim always the same dark grey/black colour, or are they different shades, dependent on the body colour?

I was looking at the picture of the Cappuccino one and the trims didn't look "grey". Of course it could be the showroom lights, but I'd be interested in a real life picture/experience of that colour if anyone can help :)

Yes, they are dark grey and are the same on all Scout's irrespective of the paint colour.

My favourite colour :giggle:
