Ipod replacement

Featured Replies

Can anyone recommend an Ipod replacement (32Gb or more) that I can connect to the MDI system in my car, as I forgot to take my old Ipod out the car during the freezing cold weather and the severe frost has fooked it!

Oh very funny John!

If you want the task of sorting my music collection out all 4,000 tracks into single folders then be my guest. emoticon-0110-tongueout.gif

We all know it won't make a jot of difference to the shuffle function! emoticon-0149-no.gif

Why not another ipod.

if you only want to use it on the MDI, just get a self powered external USB hard drive and plug that into the MDI, you can then have 1TB of storage if you want. Only drawback is you'll need to buy a USB to MDI cable for about £20 from your dealer.

MDI isnt just for connecting IPODS, you can connect all manner of things including HDD's, USB Memory Sticks and more besides,

I have a spare USB MDI cable, open to offers :)

No worries about a USB HDD, I've got one of those, it's linked to my Router as a network storage.

I've tried linking it to MDI and wasn't impressed.

I've got a well used but still working 60Gb iPod Photo that's now surplus to my requirements. Let me know if you're interested?

Cheers, Phil

Thanks philc.

I'll let you know, I've got a replacement battery on order at the moment to see if that will cure the problem first.
