just been to my dealer to see how my 110 order stands after your post about build week and your email from James, my 110 now has a order no but no build week yet but i added light assist last week and he said that it may be to late to add it but they are still trying.

I asked about skoda trying to get orders for the tdi changed to the 1.8tsi and he said that skoda may do a deal if the order was changed. so have given them the challenge to get me a 1.8 elegance for the same money as my 110. he is going to ring them tomorrow and let me know (still have heated screen as part of the deal) i think he will push as he would like my 1.2 asp.

Also in the showroom today was a 170 se white yeti WITH A VELUX ROOF arrived 2 days ago ordered last Feb

Hi Kev,

thanks for the update on your current state of play. Surprised the dealer thinks it's to late to add auto lights; added front park sensors and dropped anna alloys about 5 or 6 weeks after ordering without issue other than pushing the provisional build back by two weeks. This is now pretty much academic anyway now I have no provisional build week, just an acceptance of order by the factory.

Be great if you can wangle an upgrade to Elegance; fingers crossed thought about the 1.8 myself but dismissed the idea on cost grounds, so I'm resigned to being patient Unless of course SUK wish to knock at least 3K of my agreed deal, then I may have to think about it a bit more
