thinking of changing cars

Featured Replies

hi all. ordered the above car with a few extras in oct-was told week4 build but now its a week 9 build. trouble is i'm due to have a icd fitted and really need to get the other half driving again seeing as she's not driven for a few years so thats why i went for the dsg. it could be 6 weeks before i drive and by the looks of things the car will be delivered as i have the op-typical. so seen a vrs estate ex demonstrator for sale at the same dealer as i got the car from- was wondering if its possible to change the vehicle without losing my deposit-its the first time i ordered a new car.

any assistance would be appreciated. ta

You can always phone your dealer and have a chat.

thanks mdk1-i might call down there tomorrow and see what deal they can do-i seen a few vrs esates now and beginning to wish i ordered one instead of the elegance hatch. gf is worried about being an estate but checked the spec and its 4" shorter than our focus

I would think that if your spending more money its a no brainer for the dealer.....

Plus from reading other posts if your car is already in the system another dealer will want it anyway due to the long build times for Skoda at the moment.

I have to agree, speek to the dealer. My sister had a similar problem when she bought her Civic, her dealer gave her a good deal on a replacement new car.

No harm in asking I agree. On the other hand I seriously doubt you will be disappointed with the Elegance TSI. :)

Bear in mind that the vRS doesn't have climate control, cruise control or parking sensors as standard. You would have to add those as options.

Yes, the VRS is quite tempting now it's also VAT free (or more accurately, 20% off) but it does seem to be missing a few option extras that other cars come with as standard.

So you have to 'spec it up' at an additional cost if you want the same level of features.

the dealer by me have 3 vrs two in white&black and one in blue with black roof and can't sell them i think its because of the petrol they are not the

best on jucie the chap at the dealers spoke to sume one at skoda and they they tryed to fit the diesel in the vrs but they had trouble cooling it i don't

now if this is true but they are not selling in the midlands

That dealer should advertise them to other dealers seems to be a drought everywhere else !
