have been searching around for a Green Panel Filter Element for my Fabia vRS but can't seem to find one that's listed for the vRS. There seems to be one for the 100bhp TDi though - Is this the one I should use?

It's a replacement for the stock paper air filter in the car. Apparently allows more air to get into the engine and can be cleaned so doesn't have to be thrown away when it gets dirty.....

Do these green filters work on 1.4 16 valve furby? If so how much extra bhp? Or is it just more intake roar?

Yep they work on petrol too. Wouldn't expect huge bhp gains - maybe 2-3bhp if you're lucky, but you do get more of an induction roar, and I noticed the mid-range of the car was stronger. Used to have one on the Scooby too

Please note that the 1.4 16v FAbia does not share the same airbox as the 1.4 8v & vRS. The correct P/N for the 16v is P 504342. The airbox sits on top of the engine block & is integrated onto the engine cover unlike the latter which haxs a separate air box to the left of the engine block and above the battery.
