I'm heading down for the trade day on Friday with a few mates from work.

Skoda will be there in force, revealing a new limited edition Fabia vRS. It's very limited, with only 20 cars allocated to the UK!!

Agreed, I was going to go down tomorrow until I looked at the ticket price. Granted, it would have been cheaper had I booked a few weeks ago but still!

Yeah true, then I've to pay to get there which would cost a fortune in the VRS!

Ticket prices were a fortune especially with 8 quid parking on top plus fuel to get there, i did see 2 black octy vrs's in carpark tho

Nope, didn't get up till 1pm (late night)

I went down (my black octy was there tinted windows) .....agreed it did add up but the mrs mum paid for the ticket so wasnt too bad , and had a great time !

I managed to get hold of some complimentary tickets, so got in for free. Then shared the petrol and parking with a mate, so not too bad.

Also picked up some bargains at the Forge stand. Managed to get over £40's worth of stuff for £20!

The show was good, but I wasn't particularily blown away by the exhibitors. I haven't been for a couple of years, but it felt like the same old show, and I'd seen it all before.

I went on the trade day, when it's cheaper, but I'd still not go if I had to buy a ticket (I've actually never bought a ticket, and I've been about 5 times now!). Plus £8 for parking is a joke. It's almost as if they don't want you to come!

Was a really good day out if an expensive one.

The Skoda Motorsport stand was well laid out and friendly staff and some of the goodies were being given out for free and some on very good deals.
