:wrthless:

You should have watched the coverage on ITV, bengie...

The fabias were shown for a good 10 seconds in the 30 mins I watched ;)

Official WRC story on the fabia "off" is here

I stand corrected, it was Schwartz that rolled , not the frenchman, the commentator didnt make that very clear, i could have sworn he said that Schwartz was 11th, behind ths skoda that had rolled, :o

Bengue had an "off" too according to that report. :)

Well - he's not a member of Briskoda, so I'm hereby denying him any membership status to the IBMA! :grumpy: :D

Hmm. I really sometimes wonder if there isn't some inherent stability problems... :D

And yes, Jason, don't admit any non-briskodian furby roller into IBMA. Let's keep it (fortunately) relatively exclusive. You can claim to be a professional rally driver but I'm afraid that doesn't cut the mustard :D:rofl:

You might not be too far away from the truth there...

But i doubt it's the same for the WRC lol

How's this? :D I think it shows how well the car's cope given the forces involved in my little incident.

Needs lowering ;););)

Who else was it who posted pictures of his inverted Fabia the other week?

Joking aside, and with all due sympathy to those who've been in these accidents, pictures like these are quite reassuring to us Fabia owners. The cars may have been written off but they seem to have kept their shape and stayed in one piece.

One of the reviews I read helped clinch the decision for me: 'if I had to be in an accident in a supermini, I'd want to be in a Fabia.'

I was watching some of the WRC yesterday and there was one guy, Petter Solberg I think it was that ended up sliding into a bank and loosing a wheel in his Scooby. Thing is it wasn't that fast, after the car was cleared away another person did exactly the same in the same spot.

Why not e-mail him and make him an honorary member he may well join Briskoda because of it :D
