Anyone see Monte Rally on ITV?

Featured Replies

Not much coverage of the Furby from the bits that I saw, apart from Armin Schwarz rolling into service with a coclpit full of smoke! Petter Solberg was crashing inot as many walls as possible while Sebastien Loeb was taking it nice and cool thru the snow and ice...

How crap must the Fabia WRC be? Tony Gardemeister in the Ford finishes 2nd...

Bengue did reasonably well though, managing to get at least a point for the team.

I thought bengue did extremley well! First competative drive in the car and managed to set a fastest stage time. I think the fabia has only set two other fastest stage times in all the wrc events, so it will be interesting to watch the progress throughout the season

The coverage on ITV is very poor. I know we used to complain about coverage on C4, but i wish they would bring it back!

Why can't they put a bit of live rallying on a Sat afternoon instead of filling it with re-runs of the weeks 'action' in Corrie. Once is enough thanks, and besides, does anyone know a woman who likes soaps who for any reason has missed an episode and needs to watch it on Saturday? Women who watch soaps DO NOT miss episodes, its their number one objective in the evening time, nothing can come between them and the TV, I know from experience, so ITV please show a bit more rallying at the weekend instead!!! Or at least stick some on ITV2/3... Sorry for that rant there, needed to get it off my chest...

Do yourself a favour and get the basic Sky package, plenty of Motorsport on Eurosport and Motors TV. Well worth the money

I can't believe Skoda let Toni go to Ford as he is obviously going to give Sebastian a run for his money this year. Eurosport were quick to point out how quick Toni is now he is driving a competetive car.

Having said that Bengue was good but Armin has never been a front runner. He must be getting on for 60 now as I remember seeing him on the RAC back in the 60s.

I think Skoda have got the car nearly right but their driver line up wrong.

Motors TV is free if you have a Sky Digibox & dish. :)

I know, but you'll have to pay for installation and the monthly fee for the basic package (well you do over here :) ).
