hi all

ive got a roomster 1.9 tdi..my glow plug indicator is flashing continusly also the car wont go above 40 mph,my power streering go,s off then go,s back on after i restart the car..now the car is turning off whist iam driving what is happening please help me

anybody any ideas ???

The symptoms are so complex that I think a trip to the dealer will be the only option

I agree with B.O.F.............a dealer visit. Is the car still under warranty?

thanks folks...i took it into my local garage today they had a look at it and said the carbon filter was all blocked and covered in goo!! they cleaned it out to find two bare wires which they fixed also,but the glow plug light and engine management light are still on,also the car is sounding so rough when i start it..i bought the car 2 months and a 8 days ago it is a 07 plate from a well known dealer(arnold clark)..i contacted them but they said i only had a 2 month warranty so iam 8 days out...but iam still taking it back to them..

the dealer should have stuffed the analyser on it and seen the fault codes, could be a trip to trading standards if they refuse to help
