Can i replace my Octavia VRS Z rated tyres with those that are W or Y rated?

The Z,W and Y is a speed rating. I think any of these 3 speed ratings will be ok for the Octavia unless you have it hooked up to the back of an F1 car.

W = 168mph

Y = 186mph

Since the car can't do 186+ mph (as far as I know), I think you'd have a pretty strong case for that not being the case

My Elegance has 'W' rated tyres as original equipment . They have a higher speed rating than 'Z' so you will be OK.

My 2010 FL vRS has 225/40ZR18 92Y tyres so the speed rating is Y not Z. The Z confused me to start with.
