lokking for vsr mats, where is the best place

Featured Replies

looking for a new set of of vrs mats.had a look on ebay and the new ones on there just arent the same.

can anyone give me a clue where to look

There was a dealer selling them on eBay for £38. I bought some and they're great. Genuine mats. He doesn't appear to have them listed now though. Keep an eye out as they might reappear. I don't know how much they list for at the dealers.

Last time I bought some from the dealers they were just short of £100 per set.

They do fit a lot better than some of the universal ones though.

WHAT?!

They just supply these textile vRS ones for £39: http://www.accessories.skoda.co.uk/productdetail.aspx?p_no=ZGB1Z3061246 (twist fitting)

or the push stud fitting equivalents: http://www.accessories.skoda.co.uk/productdetail.aspx?p_no=ZGB1Z3061247

You can just call up a dealer and get them to order in a set for you and then go pick em up for £39.

Yes, that's what I bought for £38. Thought I was getting a bargain, clearly not!

Oh I don't know, a whole pound off is not to be sniffed at. ;)

Unless you paid a few quid for p+p too...

ordered some today from my vw/skoda/seat dealership.

its not the first time i have paid less for genuine mats off a dealer, than going the ebay/euro parts(what a laugh that was) route

Those ones in the link are for the MK2 octavia.

ozzyboy says in his avatar that he has a mk1 vrs.

Shall be popping to Skoda tomorrow and picking some up (hopefully they will have them in stock) as my new car didn't come with any :(

I remember reading on here a while ago that the factory fit floor mats (i.e the £39 one's linked above) were not as good quality as the more expensive dealer supplied mats?

Not sure if dealer supplied mats are OEM or not?

The standard drivers side mat in my Scout is already showing signs of heavy wear at 2 years / 20,000 miles.
